The Train-Sea-Coast GPA is an active inter-agency collaboration between the UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education, the UN Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Seas DOALOS, the United Nations Development Programme UNDP and the Global Environment Facility GEF.

We believe that empowering professionals at the local level is a fundamental component of sustainable development.

Our collaborative effort in offering training to municipal wastewater managers aims at improving sanitary services and thus a cleaner and healthier environment that provides livelihoods for coastal populations.

You are invited to explore this partnership, refresh your knowledge in the management tutorial and the compendium of technologies or download documents, presentations and software tools in our library.

We are committed to deliver cost-effective and demand-driven training to municipalities in a growing number of countries, and thereby making a contribution to increase people's access to sanitation and to reduce the discharge of untreated wastewater into the environment.
